the mirror actuator gone bad just replace it, it is very common within the Acura line up.




#7 is the part you want to replace. The part number for that is 76210-STX-H03

Is there a way that I can find out if there was a bulletin that was issued concerning this actuator problem for 2013 MDX? The warranty of 4 years is finished but I do have less than 50,000 miles on the car. If there is a bulletin, the dealer would fix it without cost.

Did you bought the vehicle new? if you didn't did you regularly service at your local Acura dealer? if yes then you might get them to do it on "good will" services but it must be approve by the service manager prior to the repair.
